Scottish Power’s David Wilton provides much of the music for this show. David was recorded at a recent recital for the Scottish Pipers’ Association. Later we have a track of Appalachian style music from US piper Timothy Cummings. It is taken from his new CD ‘Piper in the Holler’. Our ‘Piobaireachd of the Month’ is Farewell to the Laird of Islay played by Finlay Johnston (Pictured Right). This is the tune with which Finlay won the Argyllshire Gathering Gold Medal last year, recorded live at the Echoes of Oban concert.
