Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit card payment (Visa and Mastercardand Amex). Your card will be debited in UK pounds Sterling. Due to fluctuating exchange rates, the price may differ on your statement.
We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, post or over the Internet.

Delivery Schedule Orders will normally be despatched where possible within a few days. If we cannot despatch your order within 7 days we will advise you of the estimated despatch date.
As Kilts, Kilt Outfits, Plaids, Doublets, Tartan Hose and Hosetops, plus non-stock size Jackets are made to order you will be advised of estimated despatch date.
Goods are not charged until they are despatched. Once work on customised orders has commenced there is a 50% charge for cancellation.

Guarantee All of our products come with a 30 day no quibble guarentee. This warranty is limited in the case of Bagpipe Reeds and Traditional Skin Bags as the usual life of these items varies according to use and conditions.
We should be notified immediately on receipt of faulty or unsuitable reeds for replacement or refund. We cannot replace or refund reeds that have been used or altered in any way.

Returns Policy Returns Policy Our policy adheres to the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
You have the right to cancel this agreement but this right ends 7 WORKING DAYS after the date YOU RECEIVE the products (working days excludes weekends and bank holidays). You will not have to pay for any goods and any amounts you have been charged will be repaid to you by way of a credit to your card within 30 days. However, if the goods have been despatched or delivered then YOU MUST RETURN the products to us and bear the costs yourself (the cost of return postage will only be refunded in situations where a statutory right is breached). We recommend that you advise us as soon possible if you wish to exercise your right to cancel. Any products returned must be received by The College of Piping in the condition and in the same packaging (if possible) as when it was delivered to you.
When returning any goods for an exchange or refund it is recommended that you obtain a proof of posting certificate from the Post Office as we cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in the post.
We do not refund the cost of returns unless the reason for return is the result of our own error or there is a breach of your statutory rights.
